Sick Again

Well, we seem to keep getting sick here. Yesterday was my turn, had a horrible stomach virus. So bad, I had to call my husband to come home early, cause I could barely move, other than the Grand Prix race to the bathroom. And last night, my husband got sick too. Of course by then it was like 830 and I was feeling better. Was't able to eat anything but sprite yesterday. This morning I've had about half a cup of chicken broth, and a little bit of toast. It's amazing how good chicken broth tastes when you haven't eaten for two days. Anyway, hope my husband feels better today. He had to trade with somebody at work to come home yesterday, so now he has to work today. He was okay this morning, so hopefully he's over it too. The only one who hasn't got it is Brenden, and I hope he doesn't get it, he gets hysterical when he throws up. Anyway, that was my day.

Oh No, Not Again

Well, the day before yesterday, Bella starting throwing up during the night. So the next morning I made her a Doc appointment. She also started running a fever. So we go to the doctor and she has a Double Ear Infection, a stomach virus, and a yeast infection ( diaper rash). I feel like the worst mom. We get over one thing, and she gets sick with something else. Anyway, got two perscriptions, one for the ears, the other for the rash. And just to make it a little more interesting, she's still teething on that one tooth. So she just don't feel too hot. Hope she feels better soon, and the antibiotic kicks everything. Ouch!!!

Ouch!!! So I slammed my finger in the door yesterday. Was trying to close the door, before me daughter figured out that the bathroom was open to her. Of Course it hurt. And every profanity in the world came out of my mouth, like I was not in control of my mouth. Had to go back in the bathroom so the kids wouldn't hear me. anyway, it's pretty messed up, black and blue and sore.
On with the Ouch stories, Bella has an awful diaper rash, it's like I put her in the be Friday night, and Saturday morning she had a rash that looked like it had been there a week. It's awful, called the Doc, they said do Desitin mixed with Neosporin if it got worse. Well of course it did, the A and D ointment I had wasn't even helping a little, so went and got Desitin, it helped a little, but not enough, so yesterday a made a batch of the Neosporin stuff, it's helped a little more, but think I'm gonna have to take her to the Doc in the morning, think it's gonna need a persrciption to get rid of it.
Other than this we have had a decent weekend. I made Cheesecake, Oatmeal Rasin Muffins, and Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies. All of which are now gone, except for a couple cookies. But I gave some away, and Ejay's mom was here this weekend so she ate some too.
Ejay and I made a little progress on the new house, but am hoping we make more soon. Ejay is going to try to take some vacation days so he can work on it so we can try to sell it, or the one we are in. Guess that's about all, will Blog some more later.

Ouch!!!

Bella's 1 Year CheckUp

Well, yesterday I took Bella for her 1 Year checkup, she is doing everything she's suppose to do at this age, and a little more. The only thing she hasn't got yet is drinking from a cup. She likes her bottle, but am going to work on the cup thing. Other than that she's healthy, her pneuamonia is gone, and she's a happy baby. I am proud of both my kids. They are both so smart, and since I took Brenden off of his sugar, he's been so much less hyper, and listens and follows rules better. Gosh, wish I'd thought of that before. We are all doing pretty good. Have not worked on the new house in 2 weeks, really hope we can work on it a little this weekend.

Bella's Birthday

Well, yesterday was Bella's birthday. She had so much fun. She even ate some of the cake, but not the iceing, she doesn't like gooey stuff. She got like 5 new pair of pj's, and set of onsies, 4 toys, a ring and necklace, and 3 outfits. I am going to get her pictures taken next week, and one with the two kids together and a new family picture. Also had alot of fun seeing my friends from highschool, I don't get to see them that much anymore, and I always enjoy having them here. My baby is now 1 year old. I can't believe it.

The Quarter Has Passed!!!

Yeah!! I took Brenden to the Doc today, and the Quarter has passed. Thank Goodness!! I was worried they would have to take it out. Bella is still doing better. Her birthday is this Saturday. My goodness, I can't believe she is already a year old. It went by soo fast. It makes me sad. And happy. That's silly, isn't it? It seems like we had more time with Brenden, but maybe that was because he was our first, and everything is more hectic and fast now. I don't know, just hope, when I'm old, that I will still be able to remember them when they were little. I love my babies so much. Okay, enough mushhyness for now.

Toy Room is Clean!!! Yes!!!

Well, I actually accomplished something BIG today. I got my son's toy room clean. Considering I started yesterday, you can only imagine how much junk he has. I donated 4 boxes of toys to a church last week for the Katrina Victims. And there is still a ton of stuff in there. Am going to have to get rid of a few more things.
On another good note, Bella is doing much better. I can tell she feels better, thank goodness for Antibiotics. And I so glad she was't allergic to it, since this is her first time having any kind of antibiotic.
Brenden is doing well, he likes his Letter's LeapFrog video. He is learning his sounds from it. I have just figured out that he learns better from it, then from me. I guess it's more fun.
Ejay and I are doing good, too. Ejay has been home by dinnertime almost everyday for a week. That is so wonderful, it's nice to have him here to eat with, and help with dinner. He has even cooked dinner for me 3 times. How cool is that?!! Very sweet, too. Since I know he's just as tired as me at the end of the day.
Well, have Doctor appointment tomorrow for Boo to see if the Quarter is still there or not. Hope it's gone, really don't want my baby to have to have surgery. Will let you know. That's all for now.

Bad Mommy 9-8-05

Well, Bella woke up last night very whinny, and stayed up most of the night. She had a coughing fit, and or course she's got a runny nose and is congested. I decided to take her to the Doc. Well, Guess What? What I thought was just a cold, or at most an ear infection turned out to be a mild case of pneaumona,(excuse my spelling). Anyway, if you have every had to take a infant to get an Xray, it's horrible....I cried, cause she was so upset. They basically put her into a plastic straight jacket, and tie her into it, and ask you to hold her arms above her head. it's so awful, she screamed the whole time, I know it didn't hurt her, but it scared her, and it really upset me. Anyway, how bad of a mommy am I, if I couldn't tell my baby was that sick? I know I'm being silly, I really just thought it was because she was teething or just allergies that had turned into a cold. Was I wrong. Well, Doc has perscribed antibiotics, and over the counter cough and decongestant. So hopefully within the next 2 weeks she will get better. Her birthday is a week from Saturday (the 17th) her first birthday.
And on top of all that, Brenden has to go back to get his xray next Wednesday to see if the Quarter is still there, if it is they will have to take it out.
Well, I did actually accomplish a couple a things this week, I cleaned out alot of Boo's toys and donated them to a church, who is going to donate them to the Katrina victims. That was good. Also got alot of Ejay's old computer stuff taken this morning by a Freecycler, and I am going through some boxes to donate some books to the library. I guess that's about it for now.
