Fall is Here

Just found some more pictures of my babies, thought I would put them up, the one of Bella is about 3 months ago, and the one of Brenden is from his Birthday in July. Okay, it's been chilly lately, and the leaves are falling, and I have a serious case of the Blahs. You know, I'm one of those people who are unhappy in this weather, I think it would be okay if the sun would shine, instead of it being cloudy all the time. Husband has been very sweet lately. This morning he got up with the kids and let me sleep 30 extra minutes, that was nice. And he's been helping put the kids to bed, and with bathtime, and the dishes. It's a big help. I know I've said this alot before, but it really is hard, repeatative the stuff I do everyday, and you don't get anywhere. It's nice to have help, or have a break. Well guess that's about all.

It's been a while

Gosh can't believe it's been over a week since I posted anything. Sorry it's been so long. Just seems like I've been so busy lately. Although, I can't think of what I've been doing, other than the usual day to day stuff. Anyway, this past week I have made some new recipes, and some old ones. I made the Chocolate Macaron Bars from the Sweetnicks blog, they were good, and I made cheesecake with chocolate crust, I also made blueberry muffins, but I kinda made my own recipe, they are not great, but okay. I also made the Harvest Pumpkin Bars (thanks again sweetnicks), they were really good, think I will make those for my husbands monthly card game this weekend. I also made some Pumpkin Cookies for my friend Christy, she had surgery last week, so I thought they would make her fell better. They were also good, as a matter of fact, Christy is the one who gave me the recipe. I will post it, in case anybody would like to try it. Guess that's all for now.
Pumpkin Cookies
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. These will bake for 10 minutes on ungreased baking pan.

Mix together
1 can of pumpkin
2 tsp mil
2 tsp baking soda

Add
2 eggs beaten
1 cup oil
2 cups Sugar
4 cups All-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon (sometimes I use pumpkin pie spice)
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup of butterscotch chips or raisin (I have always used raisins)
Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheets
Makes about 6 dozen.

Okay, I just published the post with the pumpkin pictures on it. It's not gonna make much since, cause the way it looked on the preview, is not what it did when the post actually came up. So the picture descriptions, and the pictures are out of order. Sorry, will try to figure it out. Hope everybody like the pictures anyway.

Pumpkin Patch 2005

This weekend we went to the Waldon Pumpkin Patch. Brenden and Bella had alot of fun. They played in the pumpkin patch, and at the play area. And we all went on a hayride. We also saw the chickens, goats, cows, rabbits, and little horses at the petting zoo area. It was alot of fun. Brenden's friend Brannagh, and her mommy and daddy (our friends Michelle and Brian) came with us, too. It was alot of fun. I can't seem to make the pictures work the way I want them to, so I will probably have to make several posts to get the pictures up. I also bought some pumpkins for me, to try to make homemade pumpkin pie. Anybody know how to do that from an actual pumpkin, and not a can, Let me know, cause I haven't got a clue. More pictures to come...

Lost and Confused

Okay, my nerves are about shot. I am constantly confused, tired, and frustrated it seems. On Monday, I got up started the laundry, made breakfast, unloaded and started reloading the dishwasher, and vaccumed, twice. And that was just like the first two hours of my day. Then I realized, like most days, that I forgot to eat my breakfast, so I eat. Lately I can't seem to get my words out of my head correctly. The other day I was looking at the bread on the counter, trying to tell my son it was okay to help me put it back in the cabinet, and I couldn't think of what it was called. I know what it is, but I couldn't remember what it's name is. BREAD. Couldn't remember. I do that alot lately, or I get my words confused. I really do think that I have lost IQ points since having kids. I feel stupid half the time, because my days consist of house work, and Disney movies, dirty diapers, whineing, and not ever enough sleep. Feel like that movie Ground Hog Day, where I just repeat my days all the time. Will have to say, though, Ejay came home yesterday at 2 minutes to 6 o'clock. I was so thrilled, we all get to eat dinner together, then we both went upstairs and did bathtime with the kids, then we put them to bed. It was nice. And it really does make a difference, I know he works so much cause he's trying to make a better life for us, but it's really nice when he's home at a normal hour. He changed the air filter for me, and brought me my Pj's too, it was sweet. We even got to talk a little. Then he got paged and had to work on the computer, but it was nice, cause we did get that extra time. Tonight he is suppose to fix my screen door for me. I am overjoyed about this. I have been getting alot of headaches lately, and Ejay said it's probably cause I'm used to having my front door open, cause of the sunshine it lets in.
Anyway, on to better things. I made pumpkin muffins yesterday, they were really good. I got the recipe from the Sweetnicksblog, I really like alot of the recipe she puts on her site. And it makes me feel good that I can do it, and it's homemade. I have been cooking alot lately. Am going to try to make Chocolate chesse cake today, but I am going to mix three different recipes, and see how it works out. I will let you know, and maybe post it. Well guess that's all, will try to let you know how the recipe goes. I am going to post a couple pictures of my kids too.
I can't seem to figure out how to put the pictures where I want them in the post, but I will keep trying.

Yummy

Okay, have been in the mood to cook alot lately. I made ABC muffins on Sunday morning, I put Applesauce, Bananas, and Chocolate chips, oatmeal and rasins in them. They were good, adapted it from another recipe I had. And last Friday I made herbed bread, and spaghetti, and the kids made sugar cookies with iceing, they had a blast. Then today I made Dressing, and am going to make Turkey cutlets and, green beans and mac and cheese. Am sad though, cause husband is working late tonight, didn't know that till just now. Oh, well. Sunday we went to Ejays moms and they closed the pool for the winter. Not much else. This weekend we are taking the kids to the pumpkin patch, have to remember to bring the camera, forgot last year. Brenden loves the pumpkin patch.

Grumpy

Yes, I have been grumpy lately, and lonely, and sad. Think my hormones are acting up or something. Am tired, too. Husband came home early yesterday. I made dinner, and Ejay gave the kids a bath and put them to bed. That was nice, cause I didn't have to do the dishes And put the kids to bed. It helps alot, sometimes he realizes it, sometimes he don't. Brenden got up several times last night, don't know why, and Bella woke up too. So we are all a little tired this morning. I just put Bella down for a nap, and Brenden is picking up toys. Brannagh (Brendens friend, and the daughter of my friend Michelle) is coming over to spend the night. They are both excited. Am going to be lazy tonight, it's my Thursday night shows. ER, CSI, Without a Trace, it's basically the only night I watch TV, although, I did watch the first two episodes of Commander in Chief with Geena Davis, they were pretty good, so that might be something I try to watch. Ejay fixed the shower for me yesterday, that was nice. He put in a double shower, so we could take showers together, it's kind of nice, cause we can actually have a conversation, of course we don't do this unless the kids are asleep. I've just got the Blahs lately, am trying not to take them out on my husband or the kids. Hopefully this mood will pass soon. Husband sent me a very sweet email yesterday, would share but it's kinda mushy, but it made my day. It makes me feel good. Will Blog some more later.

Blah!

Hi! Well have been feeling really Blah the last couple of days. Am able to eat normal food now. Last night I had pizza. It was okay, but not what I was craving. I ate and ate, and still felt hungry. But I stopped cause I didn't want to get sick. Of course, during the night I got nauseous again.
Other than that, I've felt better and yestday I made enough pancakes to freeze and reheat for a week, and I made Chocolate and Yellow Cakes, the kind where one cake fits into the other one. I put Bananas in it and made Chocolate/Nutella Frosting. Ejay really liked it, but I didn't, the chocolate caked dried out, but the yellow cake was good, and you could really taste the bananas. This weekend is the time I go with Christy to the BeautiControl Class. Why did I buy that stupid stuff? Cause at the time, I thought it would be fun, and I'd actually have time to be a consultant and sell it, but I don't, especially if Ejay doesn't get home on time so I can get to my appointments. Ejay is good about that if I have something going on, but I just don't see it panning out very well, so I basically wasted $100.00. Well maybe me and Christy can have a party, and sell it to our friends and get rid of our inventory and make our money back. That's all for now. Will post again soon.
